Selected work

Real products. Thoughtful engineering.

A selection of products and engineering projects spanning SaaS, AI, healthcare-related applications, and custom software.

These are products Tovra’s founder has built or contributed to — as an employee or an independent contractor — rather than Tovra client engagements. Each project states the founder’s actual role.

01Founder’s engineering work

Sparkly AI

AI Product Engineering · SaaS · Full-Stack Application

An AI-powered application-building platform that turns natural-language prompts into deployable software projects.

Work by Tovra’s founder as a backend engineer at Sparkly AI. Sparkly AI is not a Tovra client.

Founder’s contributions

  • Built the LLM orchestration layer that turns a prompt into a multi-file project.
  • Implemented streaming generation so users see progress rather than blocking on one long call.
  • Designed persistence for generated projects — file trees, revision history and per-user isolation.
Illustrative interface concept of a prompt-to-project builder — not a screenshot of Sparkly AI.
  1. Step 1

    Describe

The user describes the site they want in plain language.

  2. Step 2

    Watch it build

Generation streams back progressively, so the user sees files appear instead of waiting on one long request.

  3. Step 3

    Iterate

The project is saved with its file tree and revision history, so it can be reopened and refined.

  4. Step 4

    Deploy

A finished project is deployed live through the deployment pipeline.

Engineering challenge
An LLM is a slow, non-deterministic dependency. Generations can be partial or malformed, providers time out, and a user waiting on a multi-file project needs to see progress — not a spinner.
Solution
An orchestration layer that turns a prompt into a multi-file project and streams progress to the client, durable project persistence with per-user isolation and revision history, and retries that resume a generation rather than starting over.

02Founder’s contract engagement

Applic AI

AI SaaS · Resume Technology · Application Automation

An AI-powered resume and job-application platform designed to help users prepare tailored resumes and manage automated application workflows.

Backend built by Tovra’s founder as an independent contractor before Tovra. Frontend work was not part of this engagement.

How it works for the user

  1. 1Upload a resume. The user uploads an existing resume, which is parsed into structured data.
  2. 2Target a role. The user adds a job description to tailor against.
  3. 3Generate. A tailored resume is generated from the user’s experience and the target role.
  4. 4Apply and track. Applications run automatically in the background, each with its own visible status.

Engineering challenge
Auto-applying means talking to many job boards with different speeds and limits. A slow board must not stall everyone’s queue, and a partially completed run must never leave the data in an unclear state.
Solution
Queue-backed Celery workers with per-board rate limiting, so one slow upstream degrades only that board, and a data model in which every application has an explicit, queryable status.

SureCare AI

AI Application · Healthcare-Adjacent Technology

An AI-assisted symptom-assessment application designed to guide users through a structured symptom-related interaction.

AI integration and backend work by Tovra’s founder as an independent contractor before Tovra. Frontend work was not part of this engagement.

How it works for the user

  1. 1Start a session. The user begins a guided, conversational assessment.
  2. 2Answer structured questions. The interaction collects symptom information step by step.
  3. 3Continue safely. The session is persisted, so a refresh does not lose the conversation.
  4. 4Review a summary. The user receives a structured, readable response.
Illustrative interface concept of a guided assessment flow — not a screenshot of SureCare AI.
Engineering challenge
In a health-adjacent context, rendering unvalidated model output is not acceptable, and a slow third-party AI dependency must not leave a user stuck mid-conversation.
Solution
A prompt and response contract enforced as a schema, with invalid output rejected at the boundary; explicit timeouts, bounded retries and graceful degradation on the request path; and persisted sessions.

    Discover

Understand the business problem, intended users, essential requirements, and desired outcomes.

    Shared problem statement and priorities

  2. 02

    Design and plan

Clarify user flows, interface requirements, technical architecture, scope, and delivery milestones.

User flows, architecture outline, milestone plan

  3. 03

    Build and validate

Develop the frontend, backend, integrations, and application workflows iteratively, validating the product throughout implementation.

    Working software at every milestone

  4. 04

    Launch and improve

Prepare the product for production, address outstanding issues, and support future development where agreed.

Production release and a clear handover

Timelines and costs are agreed once scope is clear — we don’t promise delivery dates before we understand the work.

Why Tovra

One engineering partner. The complete product.

When one team owns the interface, the application logic and the infrastructure, decisions connect — and products ship without the gaps that appear between handoffs.

About Tovra

A focused partner for ambitious product teams.

Tovra combines software engineering, product thinking and practical implementation to help founders and businesses create useful digital products — from the first user flow to the infrastructure that keeps it running.

Tovra is founder-led. The person you speak to about your product is the engineer responsible for building it, so technical decisions, trade-offs and progress are communicated directly — without layers of account management in between.

Because Tovra is deliberately small, every engagement gets direct technical involvement from the founder and a single point of accountability for the result.

Oluwakorede Erinle

Founder & Principal Engineer

Oluwakorede has spent 5+ years building and operating production Python services — REST and GraphQL APIs, queue-backed pipelines and containerised deployments on AWS. Recent work has focused on AI products, where the hard part is rarely the prompt but the timeouts, retries, streaming and output validation around it.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

What types of software does Tovra build?

Web applications and the systems behind them: SaaS products, MVPs, AI-powered features and applications, customer portals, internal tools, dashboards, APIs, background processing and cloud deployments. Every interface we build is responsive and designed to work well on mobile.

Can you build a complete SaaS product from scratch?

Yes. We can take a product from requirements and user flows through interface design, frontend and backend implementation, authentication, billing integrations where needed, and production deployment. For very large scopes we will tell you honestly what is realistic and how we would phase it.

Can you develop both frontend and backend?

Yes. Tovra works across the stack — React and Next.js interfaces, Python APIs with FastAPI or Django, PostgreSQL data models, queues and integrations — so the user experience and the systems behind it are designed together rather than handed between teams.

Can you integrate AI into an existing application?

Yes. We add LLM-powered features such as assistants, document processing and generation workflows to existing products, with the engineering that makes them dependable: structured-output validation, streaming, timeouts, retries and graceful fallbacks when a provider is slow or returns something unusable.

Can you work with our existing engineering team?

Yes. We can own a well-defined part of the product, extend an existing codebase following your conventions, or support your team on architecture and AI integration. We work through your repository, review process and tooling.

How do you scope and price projects?

Every project starts with a conversation about the problem, users and constraints. From there we propose a scope, milestones and an estimate. How the work is priced depends on how well-defined it is, and we agree that with you before anything starts. There are no fixed packages, and we will not quote timelines before the scope is agreed.

Can you continue working with us after launch?

Yes, where it makes sense for both sides. Ongoing work can include fixes, improvements, new features, infrastructure care or a planned handover to your own team with documentation.

Do you work with international clients?

Yes. Tovra is based in Lagos, Nigeria and works remotely with clients in other countries and time zones, with clear written communication and agreed overlap hours for calls.

How do we start a project?

Send a short description through the project inquiry form or by email. We will reply to arrange an introductory call, ask the questions needed to understand the work, and follow up with a proposed approach.
